Volunteers like you are critical to our mission at the New Britain Youth Museum and Hungerford Nature Center. By volunteering, you share your love of education and nature with others, gain new skills, share your abilities, and meet others with similar interests.

We have indoor and outdoor volunteering roles for all ability levels. Work with a group or on your own. What interests you?

• Helping out a guest at our visitor services desk?

• Clearing out a barn and feeding our goats?

• Organizing and preparing for events?

• Leading and supporting fundraising activities?

• Working with our animals during a children’s program?

• Spending some quality time in our gardens?

• Building a new exhibit with a team?
