The New Britain Youth Museum
& Hungerford Nature Center

Visit us today at our two sites. The Youth Museum, located behind the New Britain Public Library, is a fun, interactive space that offers programs on culture and arts for children and young adults.
The Hungerford Park Nature Center in Kensington is home to many domestic animals and native wild birds. There is a farm-yard, indoor exhibits, walking trails, and a picnic and play area

Children under two will be free.

A new annual $20.00 family membership* for just The New Britain Youth Museum, Downtown, will be available, that will include:

·        Free admission to the New Britain Youth Museum, 30 High St, all year

·        Advanced registration for children’s programs

An all-inclusive $50.00 family membership will continue to include free yearly admission to both the New Britain Youth Museum and the New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park as well as discounts on Hungerford programs, events and Birthday parties.

The goal of the New Britain Youth Museum is to provide a safe and enriching environment for children and families to explore and gain a better understanding of the arts, humanities, and sciences.

Through the establishment of an entry fee, we hope to ensure a sense of safety while in the museum and continue to provide children with a positive space to learn and play.
