Weekly Alphabet Story Time & Activity

FREE

Tuesdays at 10am

(Recommended for children ages 2 to 5 years)

 

Each Tuesday we will feature one letter of the alphabet. Following the reading of a story, the children will participate in an activity related to the letter of the week.  Children are invited to bring a “show and tell” item with them each time.  The item should begin with the letter of the week.

 


 

*Alphabet story and activity time resumes on Tuesday, September 2 at 10 a.m. with the letter "N".

2nd Thursday at 4:00 PM

detectiveA Museum Artifact Guessing Game

A Museum Educator will present an artifact from the Museum collection and guide museum visitors in a guessing game about the item's identity, or origins purpose and origin.

Come and hear stories and interesting facts about some of the masks in the Youth Museums current exhibit.  Masks: Filters of Identity.  Then, make your own mask to take home.

Join us for an educational program/celebration on the Feast of the Epiphany.  Learn about Three Kings Day and participate in a craft.  Enjoy refreshments and music.  Every child in attendance will receive a FREE book.  Recommended for children ages 4-10.
